For summer 2015, streetwear label Streetchief released a collection called Nima Vibes and for pre-fall 2015 it’s the turn of the girls with Nima Girls.
Named for an area in Accra, Ghana, the designer Jesse Frimpong’s country of birth, the collection features ankara style patterns and details on tees, skirts, and visors. A t-shirt and jacket from the Nima vibes collection make an appearance showing the versatility of the pieces.
The lookbook features an interesting look of threaded hair style and gothic make up that reminds us of the 90s as the traditional meets urban vibe in the clean and crisp manner. The lookbook was shot by William Ukoh, a Nigerian photographer and fellow Toronto dweller.
