Its good news for the community of Makoko as Slum2School Africa installs a healthcare centre that will serve over 2,000 school children in the community.
According to the visioner of this organization, Otto Orondaam; “It’s been really heartbreaking over the years, loosing our school children to illness we could’ve prevented. Most of their parents wait until it’s too late while some kids just suffer in pains because there is no place to walk into. Many parents can’t even afford hospital bills or even transport fares to go to health centres. Thank God we are making progress. We pray that soon we will be able to build bigger schools and medical centres to provide free medical support to preserve lives and secure the future of several less privileged children.
Thanks to our amazing team of Slum2School volunteers for their relentless passion. Many thanks to everyone who believes in our vision. May God give us the grace to do more. #LetsDoMore #Slum2School #Slum2SchoolAfrica #iVolunteer #HealthyKidsLearnBetter #ImpossibleIsNothing”
