Morning Inspirations: Don’t Procrastinate It Away!

Hey fam!

Hope we’re having a wonderful week? It’s already Tuesday and like play the week is already on its way to Friday. This is not another of my post on fashion or art, or my beloved Africa. It is a post to encourage us as I’ve come to realize that this world has too much negativity, and you don’t know who your dose of positivity might rescue. So I’m here to tell us it’s never too late!

Let’s get down to business…

Sometimes we want to get something done, with all plans laid out and all, but one way or the other something else comes up and we push aside that which we wanted to do. Suddenly when we evetually want to get it done with, something within tells us it’s already “too late”, so we start carrying that notion everywhere we go.

It’s Tuesday and you have something you want to get done on Monday, just like this post is supposed to come on Monday, but I didn’t get around to it till today which is Tuesday. Something obviously told me this isn’t Monday, so my Monday inspirations can’t go up, but hey, I decided to do it because inspiring people shouldn’t be about when, but all that counts is that the words be said and that people get inspired.

So if you have something you want to get done, and it is meant to be for yesterday, something you planned and for some reasons you feel it’s already “too late” and you have to carry it over to the next week, well, trust me when I say next week has its on responsibilities to take care of, so you’ll probably be choking your next week up. And who knows, you might never get around to do it that next week anyway.

So do it today. Start that thing now. Don’t procrastinate it away. You can try to wake up earlier than usual and replan your day, ensuring to give that little/important thing a space in your schedule. If you really want to do it, get done with it, just like I’m taking my time to get done with this article at 3:00 am on a Tuesday morning, instead of Monday it was supposed to go up.

Thanks for taking time to read this. Please drop your comment(s) on this post or share with us how you have been able to get past a “too late” thought. I look forward to learning from you.

I’m dealing with a serious condition of frequent procrastination to be honest. It seems to plague my progress in gettings things done on time. That’s one part of me i hate so much, but I’m working on myself though. Come to think of it, maybe that’s why I dislike anything that has a deadline attached to it. Anyway, I’m sorry u didn’t gain anything from my comment, but your message got me more focused on destroying this damaging habit. You are wonderful, and a great job you’re doing.
